Shell Glow
Brand Identity
Brand Design | Adobe Illustrator | 2024
Shell Glow Designs began as a passion project during my sophomore year at Cal Poly, driven by my desire to explore creative outlets beyond class assignments while also transforming my artwork into a sustainable business. I crafted a brand identity that emoted free-spiritedness and is inspired by surf-hippie culture, specializing in handcrafted Hawaiian seashell jewelry along with intricately carved linoleum block prints and handmade, naturally dyed tote bags.

Logo Process & Study
The SG logo was inspired by sparkles on the surface of the blue oceans of Hawaii. The type family Ohno Blazeface serves as a playful and diverse serif used in both the emblem and the wordmark. I manipulated letters in the 18pt font to merge together and share a sparkle motif.

Event Branding
Configuring the setup for events both on and off campus became an art within itself. blah blah blah blah blah.

Product Shoot
The goal behind conducting this shoot was to highlight the seashells within the jewelry and create an aura to each piece, treated like an artwork that belongs in a treasure chest in the deep sea belonging to mermaids.
